04 · Colour System
Every token below is taken directly from the production stylesheet of cedec.africa. Click any HEX, RGB, CMYK or CSS variable pill to copy it to your clipboard. Give print vendors the coated CMYK numbers rather than relying on automatic RGB conversion.
5px top border on all CEDEC cards
Every card on cedec.africa carries a 5px top bar transitioning from CEDEC Gold (#F2B233) to Copper (#C8622E).
Hero & restricted-area background
Combines a warm gold radial glow at top-right, a teal radial glow at bottom-left, and a 160° Night-to-Horizon linear base.
05 · Typography & Hierarchy
CEDEC properties deliberately load no third-party font files or CDN scripts. Visitors' browsers contact only the CEDEC origin, protecting privacy and ensuring instant rendering over low-bandwidth links across the SADC region.

06 · Brand Architecture, Pillars & Voice
When writing or designing for any CEDEC subsidiary, programme or presentation, use the canonical pillar numbers, titles and ownership terms below verbatim.
Available natural resources
Agro-processing of South African medicinal plants to grow local pharmaceutical manufacturing, rooted in indigenous knowledge systems.
Global demand
Smart manufacturing, AI and IoT platforms, secure communication (CEDEC Meet, CEDEC Workspace, Secure Comms as a Service), enterprise incubation, and track-and-trace systems.
Existing offtake market
Local biofuel from agro-processing and industrial waste, renewable generation, and community energy cooperatives.
National priority
A Soweto automotive supplier park, renewable natural-fibre bio-composites, and black industrialist development.
Cross-cutting
SME acceleration, township retail digitalisation, skills development and aggregation so small enterprises reach markets they could not reach alone.
Youth enabler
Supervised work experience inside real enterprises at no cost to the young person, a university-industry nexus, and campus Venture Labs.
Ownership & Governance Standard
Every CEDEC operating subsidiary carries the same three-part ownership architecture: 01 Employee Ownership Trust, 02 Community Trust, and 03 Social Innovation Fund. Named individuals and ownership percentages are never published on public pages without explicit corporate decision and consent.
Official Boilerplate Copy
CEDEC — the Catalytic Economic Development and Equity Corporation — is a registered South African development company that builds operating enterprises across six pillars, from medicinal plants to secure digital infrastructure, and writes the workers and communities who generate the value into the ownership across South Africa and the SADC region.
07 · Using the Mark Correctly
The CEDEC mark is simple enough to survive at 16px on a browser tab and bold enough to anchor a 2-metre banner. Follow these rules so every placement reads unmistakably as part of the same group.
Clear-space & minimum-size specification
Below 120px on screen or 30mm in print, drop the wordmark and use the standalone mark or circular badge (`cedec-mark-badge.svg`).
Four rules to follow, four traps to avoid
-dark) lockup on Night (#0B1F2A), deep slate or dark photography.-color) lockup on Warm Paper (#FFFDF9), Sand (#F6EFE2) or white paper stock.-150° with rounded stroke caps and the solid Gold core centred..africa in arbitrary colours outside the four official colourways.
